Vice President, Division of Pharmacy Practice

Dr. Sudha Narayanaswamy is the Senior Vice President of the Division of Pharmacy Practice for Acurity, where she serves as a resource to hospital pharmacy administrators to help address our members’ top health-system priorities, ranging from rising drug costs to advocacy concerns. In addition to soliciting and responding to member feedback on practice challenges during in-person discussions with hospital pharmacy administrators, she identifies utilization trends and offers recommendations for cost saving opportunities in collaboration with her Pharmacy Services colleagues at Acurity and Premier.

Dr. Narayanaswamy joined our staff in 2008 after completing a specialty residency in Geriatrics at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center (KJMC), Brooklyn, New York, and experience as a Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator at KJMC and St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Jersey. Dr. Narayanaswamy has been involved in health-system pharmacy for over 15 years, with board certification in psychiatric and geriatric pharmacy practice. She is a graduate of St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences, where she received both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees.
